Your information

Privacy

You can use our tools without an account. Here is what happens to your inputs, saved plans and shared links.

  • Stored in this browser

Saved plans and preferences belong to the browser profile you use. They do not automatically sync to another device.

  • Choose what you keep

Saving is optional. Delete individual plans or clear this site's stored plans and preferences from the footer.

  • Copies are separate

Shared links, printouts and downloads remain wherever you or someone else keeps them.

What this browser remembers

This tab remembers your current inputs while you move between screens, so Back can restore your work. Accepting an app update briefly keeps the current draft in session storage while the page refreshes. An ordinary refresh starts from the starting inputs unless you open a saved plan or shared link.

Save stores a plan in this browser's local storage. We also use browser storage for your country selection, theme and privacy preference. Saved records remain until you delete them or clear the browser's site data. Anyone using the same browser profile may be able to open them.

Using the installed app offline

The app stores its own application files and visited pages on your device for offline use. Pages and tool data are requested from the network when available, with stored copies used when the connection is unavailable. Analytics and third-party requests are excluded from the app's offline caches.

Offline access requires the relevant files to have finished downloading. Your browser can remove stored files, and a page you have never opened may be unavailable offline. Saved plans stay on this device and do not create an account or cloud backup.

What a shared link contains

Share link puts the plan settings after the # symbol in the address. That part of a URL is not sent with the normal page request, but anyone with the full link can read or open its settings.

Only share information you are comfortable passing on. Printed pages, PDFs, calendar files and other downloads are saved through your browser or operating system; we do not keep a copy for you.

Analytics and website requests

Google Analytics is optional and loads only if you choose Allow analytics. If you allow it, it sets cookies to count visits and see which pages and planners are used. It never receives your plans, recipe names, share links or the names of files you download. Use Privacy choices in the footer to change your mind at any time.

Loading a page still sends an ordinary request to the website's host. The host may process connection information, such as an IP address and the page requested, in access logs. Hosting-provider and retention details have not yet been published.

Delete a plan or clear everything

  • Open Saved plans in the header, or in the menu on a phone, to delete one saved plan.
  • Choose Delete my data in the footer and confirm to clear this site's saved plans and preferences from this browser.
  • Use Privacy choices in the footer to reopen the privacy panel.

What deletion cannot remove

Deleting browser data does not delete files you downloaded, printed copies or links you have already shared. Clear those copies separately. Saved plans do not automatically transfer to another device or browser.

What is inside a saved plan

A saved record can contain the tool, country, input settings, a calculation time and information used to identify the plan in your list. Depending on the tool, your own recipe names, food labels, ingredients or quantities can be part of those inputs.

Use names and notes you are comfortable storing in the current browser. The website does not need personal identifiers, contact details or health information to calculate a cooking plan. A shared household browser profile is different from a private account with its own sign-in.

Storage problems and keeping a separate copy

A browser can block storage or run out of available space. The site's controls can report a saving problem, but that does not create a server backup. Browser settings, private browsing and clearing site data can also affect whether a plan remains available.

If a plan matters for an upcoming meal, keep a printed or downloaded copy as well as any browser save. Before leaving a shared device, check whether you want to delete its saved plans and preferences. Close or clear copies of shared links separately.

Following a source or opening a download

An official source link takes you to another website. Visiting that site sends it an ordinary page request, and its own privacy information applies. Check the destination before entering information on any separate service.

A calendar file, spreadsheet or PDF may be opened in another application or stored in a folder that syncs with a cloud service. Those are choices made through your browser, operating system or other applications. Clearing this site's local data does not control those separate copies.

Frequently asked questions

Will my saved plans appear on a different phone or computer?

No. Plans are saved in the current browser profile. A shared link or a downloaded copy can help you move a plan, but this site does not provide an account-based synchronisation service.

Does Delete my data remove a link I already sent?

No. Deletion clears the site's saved plans and preferences from this browser. It cannot withdraw a shared link or remove a file, calendar event or printed copy kept elsewhere.

What happens in a private browsing window?

Storage availability and how long it lasts depend on your browser. A private session or clearing site data can remove saved records. Keep a separate copy of a plan you need later.

Is a shared plan link encrypted?

The settings in a share link are encoded for use in an address, which is not encryption. Anyone with the complete link can inspect or open them. Do not put sensitive information in a plan you intend to share.
