A little kitchen wisdom

A timer is a guide.
A thermometer is a check.

Cooking times are estimates. Check your food with a thermometer and follow your local food safety guidance.

Read our approach

A little help before you start

Good questions.
Useful answers.

No account, no complicated setup. Just a few things worth knowing.

Where should I start?

Choose a tool for what you're making, then follow its inputs. Dinner and baking planners help you work back from when you want to eat or bake. Meal planning and kitchen helpers organise quantities, shopping and other everyday jobs.

Can I save a plan for later?

Yes. Use Save plan on a tool's result to keep it in this browser, then open Saved plans from the navigation. Plans stay on this device, so they won't automatically appear on another phone or computer. You can also use Save as PDF for a copy to keep or print.

Why does my country matter?

Some tools use country-specific guidance and defaults. Choose your country in the navigation to see the versions available for you. Global tools work across countries; changing units alone doesn't change a tool's underlying guidance.

Are the cooking times exact?

Timings are a starting point. Ovens, food size and preparation can change the result. Follow your recipe and packaging, check food with a thermometer where appropriate, and use the official sources linked on each tool for local food safety guidance.

Good timing. Happier meals.

Less clock-watching.
More time at the table.
