A little help in the kitchen
How to use it
Choose the date and time you want to serve. Check the time zone, which starts with your device's setting. Choose today or a future date.
Add each dish's name, cooking time and oven temperature from its recipe. You can enter up to 20 dishes. Type a whole number of minutes or use the hour/minute picker; each dish can take 1 minute to one week.
Choose Celsius or Fahrenheit. Switching units converts the temperatures you entered. Use settings for one oven type: all fan or all conventional. The planner does not adjust fan settings or gas marks.
Choose Calculate oven plan. Each dish shows Put in and Take out times. The colour key groups similar temperatures, and warnings show dishes that need different settings at the same time. Check your recipes and oven space before combining dishes.
Save the plan on this device, share a link, or save as PDF. Long plans show one day at a time on phones; printing includes every dish. Clear empties the form while keeping your unit, time zone and saved plans. Add time for preparation, preheating, temperature changes and resting yourself.
How it works
For each dish: put-in time = serving time minus cooking time. Every dish is timed to finish when you serve. A longer bar means more cooking time; bars that overlap show dishes using the oven together. The planner keeps these times even when there is a warning.
Each colour groups oven temperatures no more than 10°C (18°F) apart. Groups are built from the coolest setting upwards. For example, 180°C and 190°C can be in one group, while 200°C starts another group. Your original temperatures stay visible.
A temperature clash means two dishes cook at the same time but their settings differ by more than 10°C (18°F). Each warning shows the dishes, their settings and when they overlap. Every pair is checked, including dishes in different colour groups.
The 10°C range helps organise the chart. It does not prove that a recipe can use another temperature or that all trays fit. Check your recipes and appliance instructions before choosing a shared setting. The planner does not choose a temperature for you.
The example serves at 18:00: lasagne takes 60 minutes at 180°C and starts at 17:00; garlic bread takes 10 minutes at 180°C and starts at 17:50. Both finish at 18:00, with no temperature clash.
Times follow your selected time zone. Overnight dishes show their start and finish dates. Cooking time counts actual minutes, including when daylight-saving clocks change. If your serving time is skipped or repeated during a clock change, choose another time. Older saved and shared plans still open. All cooking times and temperatures come from your inputs.
Frequently asked questions
Can several dishes cook in one oven at the same time?
The chart shows which dishes overlap. Matching colours group temperatures within 10°C (18°F), but you still need to check your recipes, tray space and oven instructions before cooking those dishes together.
What happens when oven temperatures clash?
A warning shows which dishes need different settings and the time they overlap. Check whether your recipes allow one shared setting, or use another appliance for a dish. The planner keeps the serving time and cooking times you entered.
Which temperature should I use for a group?
Use a setting that your recipes and oven instructions allow. The colour key shows the temperatures you entered, or their range. It does not recommend one temperature for the group.
Does it include preheating, resting or temperature-change time?
Only the cooking duration is scheduled. Allow for preheating, preparation, temperature changes and resting separately. A dish with a required rest needs additional planning before it is ready to serve.
Can I switch Celsius and Fahrenheit or plan across midnight?
Yes. Valid settings convert between Celsius and Fahrenheit; 10 Celsius degrees of difference equals 18 Fahrenheit degrees. Overnight intervals include their calendar dates in your selected time zone. The planner does not convert between fan, conventional or gas-mark settings.
How do saving, sharing and printing work?
Saving uses this browser's local storage. A share link carries your settings in its fragment. Save as PDF contains the entire oven chart, clashes and general note. Delete my data clears saved plans and preferences. No calendar or spreadsheet download is required for this tool.
